Our Story

Troop 70 was founded in 1930 and has been continuously in operation ever since. During the early history of the Park Cities area, the Highland Park I.S.D. provided meeting space for a scout troop in each of the three existing elementary schools. This year we are celebrating our 90th year as a troop!

Eagle Scouts

Since 1930, Troop 70 has been creating leaders and some of these leaders have earned the highest rank in Scouting - Eagle Scout. Nearly 500 scouts have earned this rank with our troop.

Scoutmasters

Troop 70 has been blessed with strong leadership. The uniformed leaders have done a great service for the troop, community, and the boys. The Scoutmaster exemplifies that leadership in their dedication of time, talent, and treasure.
